Staff Expertise

We have always felt that the most important resource that we have to offer our clients is our people. Of the 78 company-wide employees, 30 are engineers, of whom 21 are Registered Professional Engineers -- including:

• Certified GeoExchange Designer
• LEED™ Design
• Registered Fire Protection Engineer
• Controls Engineers
• Certified In Plumbing Engineers
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)

Farris Engineering provides both in-house training and outside training opportunities for the continuing education and development of all our staff. Topics are varied but will include such things as review of new code changes and standards, new product announcements, vendor presentations, factory visits and tours, internal quality control programs and project management.

Projects will always be led by a Principal owner of Farris Engineering who is a Registered Professional Engineer. This ensures that a highly experienced professional engineer is leading the design effort. The design team, once established, will be changed only under extreme circumstances.
